II.2.4) Description of the procurement

Kilmartin Museum requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced professional to undertake community consultation work in support of a LEADER Funded Project: Confirming the Significance of Kilmartin Glen’s Archaeology.

The Community Consultant who will consult with the local community, landowners, businesses, community groups, schools and wider communities of interest (including academics) to define the significance of the Glen’s archaeology both in terms of the Museum collections and the archaeological monuments in the landscape. The consultant will also articulate and promote the way in which international and national designations could benefit local business development, social identity and local pride.

The brief sets out the requirements of these services.

The total budget for the work covered in this brief, which must be complete by November 2019 is 28,050 GBP, excluding VAT. This includes material, travel and accommodation.
