II.2.4) Description of the procurement

Parents will be guided to the list to enable them to make the choice of placement for their child. For further detail regarding the placements can be found in Schedule A (terms and Conditions) and Schedule B (Specification).

The process to qualify for participation will be through a set of required minimum standards and a series of quality based questions. The minimum standards and award criteria are as detailed within the document on Public Contracts Scotland Tender. Only those Providers achieving the required minimum standards will be eligible to be considered for inclusion on the list.

It is anticipated that each Provider qualifying for participation on the list will be awarded an overarching contract, Parents will have the choice where to place their children.
