II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The full installation shall comply with the conditions laid down in the Standard Conditions of Contract contained within the Bill Guide.

School Holiday Works. Remove existing. Supply and fit new LTHW radiators and sink tops, including all new drop fed pipework, connecting into existing F & R pipework, controls, supports, fixings, taps, valves, new foul waste soil vent pipes, external stacks, AAV's and all accessories. All as per drawings, general notes and specifications required for classroom upgrade M(5-)001, (2-)01 Rev A, M(5-)002, M(52)02, 03 ,04 Rev A, (00) 02,03, 06 Rev A and attached.

Tenderers must complete Sub-Contractor's requirements on page 23 or their tender shall be deemed Non-Compliant.

It is HIGHLY recommended that the contractor visit the site to familiarise themselves with the full extent and nature of the works as no redress will be made at a later date for lack of such knowledge. Tenderers should note that all associated builder work forms part of their tender and their submission must reflect this, as no additions shall be accepted for the exclusion of same.

The Tender Price submitted shall be the Fixed Price for the Contract as no additional costs will be accepted unless prior instruction and approval has been received.

Please note Conditions of Contract item 1.6:- Fife Council Building Services shall not be providing any skips, scaffolding, access platforms or mechanical lifting/ hoisting facilities. These items must be provided by the sub-contractor (where required) and the costs thereof included in the tender price.
