II.2.4) Description of the procurement

Aberdeen City Council wishes to invite tenders from interested parties for a project to extend their district heating network in the Torry area of Aberdeen and improve the thermal efficiency of three building heating systems

ACC wishes to invite tenders from interested bodies for the execution of the following works:

1. To supply pre-insulated district heating mains pipework and fittings

2. To supply other specified heating pipe work, materials and equipment

3. To supply specified electrical controls and wiring

4. To carry out excavations, install buried pre-insulated district heating mains installations and carry out re-instatement works in highways.

5. To carry out adaptions to pipework and equipment forming connections to 3 public buildings

6. And to carry out all duties of Main Contractor and a Principal Contractor.
