The Employer desires the Contractor under a Design and Build Contract to provide residential dwellings for 3Nr sites. Each project will be tendered on an individual basis.

To avoid multiple identical applications, contractors are only required to submit 1 No fully completed ESPD(S). The contractor will be given an opportunity to register his interest in any of or all of the 3 projects, see question 2.18 and 4C.1 in PCS-T. The scoring for the fully completed ESPD(S) will then apply to each of the projects the contractor has noted interest in.

This lot refers to site 1 as follows:-

1.Plains Village, Airdrie - It is envisaged that the site will accommodate 16 units, comprising a mix of types being semi-detached or terraced houses, cottage flats and bungalows. The houses are to be built in accordance with the Construction brief, Employers Requirement and associated appendices found in the buyers attachment area within PCS-T.

A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows:

The Council has, as part of its procurement strategy, made a commitment, where appropriate, to use its procurement of works, goods and services responsibly and to help achieve its stated corporate aims in particular in furtherance of its “wellbeing” powers under Local Government in Scotland Act 2003.
