The project’s aim is to provide appropriate access and services to future residential development sites, the proposed new railway station at Barrhead South and the Dams to Darnley Regional Park. The works involve earthworks to cut a route for the road, some 500m of road construction along with utility diversions, the construction of a new underground sewer pipe with pump installation that will extend beyond the roadworks and through St Luke’s High School grounds to connect with the existing sewer network at Divernia Way, Barrhead.
