III.1) Conditions for participation

III.1.1) Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers

List and brief description of conditions:

With regard to Employee Assistance Programme, the Contractor will ensure that all those involved in the delivery of the Employee Assistance Programme should be trained appropriately, work to recognised UK Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) standards and work consistently with the UK EAP code of ethics.

III.1.2) Economic and financial standing

Minimum level(s) of standards required:

ESPD Question 4B1.1 (Minimum standards) Turnover should be up to twice the estimated contract value over the past two financial years. However, the client reserves the right to review and consider all supporting financial information in this regards.

Bidders must confirm they can provide the following supporting evidence prior to award:

Employer's (Compulsory) Liability Insurance = GBP 5 Million. Public Liability Insurance = GBP 5 Million. Professional Liability Insurance = GBP 2 Million

The successful contractor will be required to provide 2 years audited accounts, or equivalent if awarded the contract.

III.1.3) Technical and professional ability

List and brief description of selection criteria:

With regard to Employee Assistance Programme.

Counsellors must either:

A

- Be a chartered Counselling/Clinical psychologist and member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and also hold registration with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC); and,

- Hold the BPS diploma in counselling psychology or a statement of equivalent or have undergone counselling training at Masters’ level.

Or B

Be accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or equivalent.

Or C

- Undertaking accreditation with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) having undertaken a total of 450 hours of counselling training comprising of 200 hours of skill development and 250 hours of theory; and,

- Have had at least 450 hours of supervised counselling practice over a three year period.
