II.2.4) Description of the procurement

Southside Housing Association working in partnership with Development & Regeneration Services at Glasgow City Council, is in the process of delivering new affordable housing in the south side of Glasgow and these new properties form part of that delivery programme. The site is owned by the developer and therefore a requirement of the sale is that the design and build contract is awarded to AS Homes Scotland Ltd. The contract can only be awarded to this particular operator and therefore Southside Housing Association is using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice.
