III.1.1) Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers

List and brief description of conditions:

Bidders must be able to deliver elements of the required service by someone who is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers. Other elements require someone who is at least an Incorporated Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers.

As per the global question in the ESPD - E.4, Bidders must confirm if they are able to comply with the following mandatory requirements for service delivery under this framework;

1.The supplier is able to endure works will be undertaken by an appropriated qualified person at all time - those holding Chartered Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers are required as are those with a minimum of an Incorporated membership of the institute of Fire Engineers.

2.The successful Bidder must hold (or be willing to arrange the following insurances throughout the duration of any contract with “The Council”:

- Public Liability (Third Party) Insurance to the value of 5,000,000 GBP(for each and every occurrence);

- Employer’s Liability Insurance to comply with all relevant statutory requirements; and

- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of 1,000,000 GBP (for each and every occurrence)
