15/12/2014 10:16Update on Question asked on Friday 12/12/14

Q. We note that TalentScotland currently provides immigration support to approximately 65 companies per annum and responds to approximately 40 enquiries from individuals per month. Is it envisaged that all such enquiries will be passed to the new external service provider? A. We get an average of 40 enquiries from individual’s per month, usually from individual’s who are enquiring about coming to Scotland to live and work and wanting detail on immigration – there are answers to the majority of the questions we are asked on our website and we refer the enquirer to the specific place and relevant links to enable them to ‘self serve’. We need to refer approx 10-20% of the enquiries to our legal providers for specific information and signposting as to where to get more info.
