Gartcosh Local Nature Reserve Extensions
North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced specialist ecological and landscape contractor to create extension areas to Gartcosh Local Nature Reserve and to restore and create new habitats within the existing nature reserve boundary. The range of works encompasses habitat creation and restoration; planting; formation of amphibian ponds, fencing and pathworks.
The Council requires hard and soft landscape construction works consisting of gravel footpaths and stop channels; stock-proof fencing; woodland and shrub planting including shelters and mulch mats; wildflower grass seeding; Hibernacula and puddled clay pond construction including soiling and planting.
